Andy Thornton has achieved Silver Accreditation with the national environmental accreditation scheme, iiE (Investors in the Environment)

Since the last audit in 2023, Andy Thornton has continued to achieve excellent energy savings, electricity usage down 9.29%, gas usage down 9.68%, water usage down 20.57% and the overall amount of waste produced down 35.32%.
This has helped reduce the carbon footprint within the factory by 9.64%.
Andy Thornton has also adopted a travel plan to monitor fuel usage as part of the iiE Silver criteria.

It has been running for over 12 years, and in that time has helped hundreds of organisations from all sectors and sizes to improve their environmental performance.
