INSPIRED BY NEW ORLEANS
Goods Way is multi-faceted music and dining destination located in London's Kings Cross, conceived by Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett. The Courtyard is the central food and drink area and the challenge for designers 3Stories and our metalwork team was to create a New Orleans-inspired decorative balustrade.
This architectural metalwork is the dominant design feature, linking all the many different spaces within the venue.
MEETING THE BRIEF
Incorporating our own unique modular colonnade and balustrade systems and components, our architectural CAD technicians developed the design to meet the brief, budget and building regulations. They carried out a detailed on-site survey, provided working ROD drawings and control samples. The project was delivered and installed on time and in budget.
COURTYARD FURNITURE
The centre of the The Courtyard can accommodate between 50 seated guest or 150 standing. Here we were able to supply our ever-popular cast iron lion head table bases in both dining and poseur forms. The bases are paired with sustainably sourced mango plank tops.
