Italian Alley

Furniture specifier: Run Interiors

Modern outdoor furniture in vibrant colours creates alfresco dining in the heart of bustling Camden Market.

Recently launched new dining concept Italian Alley, in Camden Market, showcases Italian food, craft beer and culinary craftmanship at its best.

Occupying five restored railway arches in London’s vibrant cultural hub of Camden, the newly opened restaurant serves some of Italy’s best flavours and produce, all prepared using traditional cooking techniques. To create a look to match the exciting blend of Italian flavours, independent furniture provider Run Interiors specified outdoor metal furniture from Andy Thornton.

Modern outdoor furniture in vibrant colours is used throughout the outdoor piazza-style dining area. In the characterful courtyard, which features original arched windows and brickwork, we supplied Menorca stacking outdoor chairs, each with hairpin legs and a steel wire frame. The chairs are finished in vivid Agata blue powder-coat. These are paired with matching Menorca square tables with hairpin legs, the steel frames powder-coated in a practical and contrasting matt dark grey.

Outside the arches, informal seating is available for customers to enjoy their food in the heart of the bustling alley, while they watch the world go by. Here, Rotterdam bar stools in black are teamed with Capri poseur tables, each of which comfortably seats two diners. Available in a choice of 30 colours, the tables are finished in vibrant Tomato Red, to contrast against the brickwork and historic cobbles of the bustling street.

Alfresco dining under the stars, at tables groaning with delicious Italian food, is no longer a fantasy at Camden Market.
