INDEPENDENT NEW PUB & KITCHEN
A beautiful new independent pub and kitchen has opened in the heart of West Vale, near Halifax. Formerly a traditional pub, the 120-seater eatery Viaduct is now open every day for people to enjoy deliciously good food and an impressive drinks menu.
When it came to furnishing the new opening, designer Stephen Yardley of IMD Associates in Blackburn was able to take full advantage of the endless bespoke furniture options we offer.
CAST IRON TABLE BASES
Our contract furniture is used to great effect in the stylish venue, both in the ground-floor bar area and spacious upstairs restaurant. Andy Thornton Bold cast iron table bases in different styles and sizes are used throughout, teamed with a mix of bespoke table tops, carefully stained to match the customer's samples.
ORIGINAL PITCHED ROOF
The upstairs restaurant features a stunning pitched roof, with exposed original pitch pine joists and rafters and exposed stone and brickwork. To complement these original features, we supplied bespoke farmhouse tables with the base painted in heritage green, with a lightly distressed finish. The tables are teamed with our comfortable Camden armchairs, the inner back and seat upholstered in a practical dove grey leather, with the outer back in a textured slate grey fabric.
CURVED BANQUETTE SEATING
At the far end of the restaurant, a cosy booth area features curved banquette seating matched with cast iron table bases with dark timber tops. Our best-selling Repton side chairs and armchairs provide a splash of vibrant colour, with the outer backs upholstered in a botanical print in a mixture of pale greens, teal and pink. The chair frames are stained in a complementary dark oak.
The new Viaduct pub and kitchen is now a world away from the traditional pub, and a welcome addition to the up-and-coming area of West Vale.
