The Leeds Ricci’s Tapas & Cicchetti is located in Goodbard House, a Grade II listed building in the heart of the city’s buzzing financial district. Michael Ricci has created a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with laid-back communal dining in mind, for the cooked-to-order small plates. To help create this look he turned to contract furniture supplier Andy Thornton, a company he has worked with on all his previous venues, to provide much of the restaurant furniture and decorative lighting.
We supplied the white Uni side chairs that are matched with white painted cast iron table bases and Patina Teak tops. Along the long dining bar counter, the popular Feltham bar stool from Andy Thornton perfectly contrasts with the white-tiled bar front.
Andy Thornton concrete pendants have also been used extensively, complementing the stripped-back look of the building, with its stone flagged floor and exposed brick-work. Said Michael Ricci: “We wanted to bring something fresh and new to the table that will surprise and excite the people of Leeds – and we believe we have done just that.”
