7 Bone Burger Co Bournemouth is the second 7 Bone from Matt Mollicone and Rich Zammit. The pair opened their first, hugely successful site, in Southampton back in 2013 and BBC2 viewers will remember them being mentored by Russell Norman of Polpo, Soho in ‘The Restaurant Man’. Andy Thornton supplied furniture to the first 7 Bone and the company was invited to tender for the full furniture package for this second site.
Facing the open plan kitchen area Andy Thornton supplied over 10 metres of fixed banquette seating, upholstered in pleated antiqued leather, together with vintage-style red painted cafe chairs, nouveau table bases and chunky timber tops.
At one end of the food server unit large refectory tables have been matched with a mix of benches and side chairs, canteen-style.
By the front entrance adjustable cast iron pub tables have been placed with Cross back side chairs and more cafe chairs. The industrial-style furniture throughout the restaurant works perfectly with the mixed timber herringbone and concrete floor.
In the basement bar Andy Thornton’s popular Factory bar stools have been used around the cocktail bar. The company also supplied the sheet copper bar top which complements perfectly the simple tongue and grooved bar counter and tiled floor.
