The Brotherhood of Pursuits & Pastimes is a luxury sports bar located on the corner of Mount Street and Central Street in downtown Manchester. It’s a city centre bar for professionals that goes all out to celebrate sport, offering an experience like no other. Showing all kinds of sport - from football to golf, rugby to roller derby - staff will also take requests from customers for even the most obscure events.
Owner Seema Dhiman, whose Leeds venue of the same concept has been incredibly popular, was responsible for the sophisticated interior design.
The main ground floor features a huge brass-topped bar counter, which is lined with our hugely popular Soho bar stool, in ribbed vintage leather. Facing the bar, in front of the full height windows, are high poseur tables with more Soho bar stools, in vintage tan leather.
The basement features a games area with pool tables and football tables, all surrounded by screens. There are private booths with separate TVs, which can be booked out by groups completely free of charge.
There’s a mezzanine library with Chesterfield sofas, old banker's lamps and bookcases, just like a traditional gentleman's club. We supplied our leather upholstered School side chairs, which complement the rest of the sumptuous lounge furniture so well.
