Rustique, the popular fine-dining establishment on Castlegate in the very centre of the historic city of York, now boasts a secluded rooftop dining terrace. As the name suggests, Rustique is an independent restaurant that specialises in traditional French cooking, in a busy, vibrant, bistro atmosphere.
The new outdoor dining terrace, only a stone’s throw from tourist destinations such as the Jorvik Viking Centre, has opened to great reviews from regular diners and tourists alike. Created as part of a major refurbishment to the first floor of this popular York eatery and with impressive views of the famous York skyline, the attractive outdoor space has been created using outdoor furniture from the Andy Thornton 2016 collection.
Rustique’s owner Danny Broome specified Tatami stacking side chairs in brown moulded polypropylene from the extensive Andy Thornton range. These popular Italian chairs are lightweight, stackable, strong, durable and UV resistant. They have been matched with Prima table bases in dark grey woven plastic with 800 x 800 mm square teak laminate tops.
