Paultons Park, the family theme park set in the New Forest, has over 70 rides and attractions set in 140 acres of parkland, and is famous as the home of Peppa Pig World.
We supplied a magnificent themed Japanese-style pagoda to the park's new Japanese Garden.
CARVED SHACHIHOKO FIGURES
The main feature of the pagoda is the curved two-tier roof structure, incorporating tile-effect metal roof panels with six symbolic carved Japanese Shachihoko figures to the lower tier.
It's not the first time Paultons Park have commissioned specialist architectural metalwork from us. In 2014 we manufactured and installed a magnificent Victorian-style bandstand to complement the antique double-decker fairground carousel ride, both set in the beautiful period-themed garden of the park. At 6.5 metres in diameter and 6.3 metres tall, this imposing hexagonal structure was built using components from our popular Victorian colonnade system.
DECORATIVE BALUSTRADE PANELS
The bandstand features decorative cast balustrade panels, spandrels and timber handrails with one open side for access. The ornate columns, with detailed capitals, have structural steel cores to hold the elaborate roof structure.
