DECORATIVE OUTDOOR METALWORK

DECORATIVE OUTDOOR METALWORK

Manor House Lindley is a new boutique events venue in Huddersfield, set in a Grade II listed property. The owners have transformed the former children’s home into a wedding venue with 11 individually designed guest rooms, bars and restaurants and even a roof terrace, which are open to hotel guests, businesses and locals alike.

We played a major part in the refurbishment, by supplying a number of decorative outdoor architectural metalwork structures. Working closely with the main contractor Robinsons Property Services, we manufactured and installed a spiral staircase, a large amount of balustrading and railings and a covered walkway.

COVERED WALKWAY

The courtyard walkway incorporates square mild-steel columns, with steel frames and decorative Circle spandrels and brackets. The roof structure comprises 8mm thick clear toughened safety glass. All metalwork has been finished in a durable black powder coat.

Linking the courtyard to the raised roof terrace is an impressive bespoke spiral staircase, manufactured in our workshops then assembled on site.

From the top of the staircase, circle balustrading leads to a really useful large roof terrace complete with timber pagoda. The 14 metre x 6 metre event space is totally enclosed by decorative railings to match the rest of the decorative metalwork in the courtyard.
