Langtry Gardens is a secure, estate-managed mixed development of traditional private and social rented cottages and apartments, with community facilities, for the over-55s. The cottages are planned around beautifully landscaped courtyard gardens.
Outside the community centre we supplied the main entrance handrails, railings on top of the garden wall and first floor balcony balustrades to the front and rear elevations. This was all manufactured in mild steel with intermittent floor-fixed 50 x 50 rolled hollow section posts and 40 x 10 convex handrails. This was finished in gloss black polyester powder-coat.
Inside the community centre, we supplied the internal stair handrail and balustrade system, in 304 grade stainless steel in a satin brushed finish. This features 50 mm diameter posts with fixing plates for face-mounting direct to the concrete stair risers, with glass clamps and 50 mm handrail. All glazing panels are in 10 mm thick clear toughened safety glass with polished edges.
