Andy Thornton supplied the bar counter and highly visual bottle shelves and glasses display rack on the back bar. This was manufactured using scaffold-style clamp components and steel tube sprayed in the same gunmetal and rust finish. This incorporates reclaimed pine shelving for the bottles, stemware rods for holding champagne and wine glasses and even a matching hook-on ladder for accessing the high shelves.
To match the industrial-style bottle and glass storage rack, our scaffold-style drinkstands with reclaimed pine tops have been matched with French café bar stools in a mix of antique red and pewter finishes. The furniture is complemented by factory-style cage pendants above the bar, again from Andy Thornton.
The entrance to Vine features an impressive arched stone entrance. The entryway, with two doors and a glazed screen, was manufactured by our Architectural Metalwork Department. The framework features gusseted corners and rivet-style fixings, and the toughened glass screen incorporates an etched ‘Vine’ logo. It has been sprayed in a special gunmetal finish with rust detail, to give an aged appearance.
