Debenhams has opened the doors on its latest store, in the 400,000 sq ft shopping and leisure extension to intu Watford, as it continues to deliver the retailer’s strategy to make the stores a sociable shopping destination. The Debenhams Redesigned strategy places shoppers at the forefront by providing an engaging space to shop, dine and relax.
Integral to the store is the new food offering, Loaf & Bloom, which is an exciting new in-house food and beverage concept in Milton Keynes, Wolverhampton and now Watford.
Loaf & Bloom provides a tranquil and uplifting space, where shoppers can put down their bags and take a break from shopping. With a choice of healthy, tasty breakfasts, lunches and snacks, shoppers can relax, re-energise and get ready to take on more shopping.
Reflecting the organic and natural approach to the food, the interior uses stripped back materials and finishes, incorporating glass screens, partitions and planting. Alongside the distinctive kaleidoscope flooring and arched metal screen, we provided the contemporary chairs in the main dining and lounge area. These are in a natural rattan finish on a black powder-coated steel frame, with slate-coloured Yarwood leather seat pads.
