Outdoor canopies at the new Boundary Mill store, Colne

Andy Thornton recently designed, manufactured and installed several large glazed bespoke outdoor canopies for the new restaurant building at Boundary Mills Retail Outlet, Colne, which opened in March. The canopy was designed by Andy Thornton to meet the client’s overall design idea of a ‘chunky’ feel to reflect the historic past of this textile area.

The striking canopies provide cover for diners wishing to eat outside Banny's, the new 280-seat fish and chip restaurant at Boundary Mills. The cast aluminium frieze was developed specially to meet the client's design criteria. Andy Thornton also supplied most of the furniture to the restaurant.
