We are delighted to announce our accreditation to SAFEcontractor, an award that recognises our very high standards of health and safety amongst UK contractors. We are one of the latest group of successful companies to join the leading edge scheme, which is designed to help industry improve its safety record.

Employing 160 people and with a £14m turnover, Andy Thornton is principally involved in the design and fit-out of venues in the hospitality and leisure industry. We are also major suppliers of contract furniture, decorative lighting and accessories. Our application for SAFEcontractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business.

SAFEcontractor accreditation will enhance our ability to attract new contracts and our commitment to safety will be viewed positively by major national organisations, who can no longer run the risk of employing contractors that are not able to prove they have sound health and safety policies.
