This impressive fireplace has been hand carved by some of the world’s finest artisans. The chimney piece is flanked by a pair of heraldic lions and the overmantel frame is heavily influenced by the period of Louis XV. We believe this piece to be amongst the finest available in the world today.

Installation
- If this mantel is intended for use as a source of heat, the installer must be a competent person under the Building Regulation Act 2000 and must supply a commissioning certificate to be kept with the installation. Notwithstanding the above, the installer will be a qualified builder with knowledge of fireplace installation, so that even if the mantel is ornamental only, the construction will be safe. The installer must have knowledge of flue construction, fire openings, room ventilation and CO testing. Andy Thornton Ltd cannot advise on such matters.
