Sheffield Tap
Location: Sheffield
Client: Pivovar Ltd
Sheffield Tap, the world beer freehouse within Sheffield Railway Station, has won a National Railway Heritage Award for the restoration of the Edwardian Grade II listed building and interior.
Disused since the 1960s, the pub was ’discovered’ by bar operator Jamie Hawksworth, whilst waiting for a train. It took almost two years to cut through red tape to make the project happen. We were responsible for restoring the original bar in our workshops, as well as supplying fixed seating, loose furniture, decorative lighting, an antique fireplace and bespoke mirror.
