Jubilee Bandstand
Location: Sanders Park, Bromsgrove
Client: Bromsgrove District Council
This decorative period-style bandstand in Sanders Park, the principal park in Bromsgrove, was commissioned by Bromsgrove District Council, to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee in 2002. It was constructed in steel, using decorative columns, sprandrels that feature the official Golden Jubilee emblem and a special crown finial on the roof.
The bandstand is the focal point in this delightful open space and continues to draw the crowds with a full programme of music and art during the summer months.
