23.12.2011 - Our Architectural Antiques furnish new deli

Andy Thornton sourced a host of antique and vintage reproduction shop fittings and decor to furnish the recently opened 12 Harland Place Deli & Dining Room in Stockton-on-Tees.

The delicatessen and restaurant specialises in locally sourced produce and homemade food, which is showcased on period-style display stands and shelves.

These include reproduction cake stands from our Victoria Mills showroom, a nickel plated and glass shelving unit based on an original Savoy brasserie display rack complete with detailed casting to its feet and post tops and vintage boxes.

We also sourced a timber bank counter, which was originally housed in a Royal Bank Of Scotland branch and now forms part of the deli’s serving, factory lights that were rescued from a redundant station house and a vintage railway carriage luggage rack with coat hooks in a nickel finish.

 12 Harland Place

Marble table tops and continental cast iron table bases from our contract bar and restaurant furniture range is used throughout the relaxed dining room, along with reproduction industrial pendant lighting.

We also supplied traditional tractor seat cast iron bar stools for extra seating and a reproduction Sullivan industrial table with glass top, nickel plated metal base, lever and cog adjustable height and lockable trolley wheels.

Vintage signs and pictures add the finishing touches to the homely and relaxed deli and restaurant.
