The British Beer Company (BBC) commissioned Yorkshire-based Andy Thornton to inject some traditional British charm into one of its many Stateside drinking establishments. With the brief from the BBC that they wanted a British pub with ‘a wow factor’, Andy Thornton magnificently rose to the challenge and helped create a welcoming interior with a distinctly British feel.

Andy Thornton manufactured and fitted the beautiful polished hardwood bar, which houses a central island with delicately carved detail-fronted columns with stained glass detail. The fixed seating booths are upholstered in button-backed soft leather with fitted brass footrails.

Circular dividers were used to separate the seats and feature intricately etched glass panes, also found in the doors. Andy Thornton added vibrant stained glass panels to divide the seating area from the bar and some striking brass lamps, which sit between the panels casting a rosy glow. The hardwood carved balustrade and brass coat hooks finished off the complete British pub look.
