This busy canal-side city centre bar, formerly a Victorian pump-house, had plenty of additional external space that was under-utilised.

An extra 48 seats were created by the installation of a towering 7.5 metre two-tier veranda at the front of the building, which incorporated a covered first floor balcony. The design was in keeping with the building's heritage, featuring industrial columns and brackets with Georgian wired roof panels.

We also supplied a smaller canopy and balustrading to the side entrance, to create an additional seating area.
